Take the motorway A2, which arrive to the frontier with Italy and becomes then A9, direction Milan / Como - Chiasso till the first exit in Italy after the customs of Chiasso, Como nord Cernobbio. It takes you ca. 1 hour and 10 minutes by car to reach the Hotel (70 km). Without taking a motorway it is possible to reach Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace driving to Lugano Centro, driving along the promenade and then taking the Road to Gandria, direction Porlezza. After the frontier between Italy and Switzerland and once reached Porlezza, drive along the Strada Statale 340 direction Menaggio. Take then motorway A8 and follow the road signs to Como-Chiasso. BY TRAIN All trains coming from Germany and Switzerland and directed to Milan Centrale make a stop at San Giovanni Station in Como. At Milan Centrale station every hour a train leaves to Como. From Milan, at Ferrovie Nord Cadorna Station every half-hour a train leaves to Como and arrives just a few metres away from the landing stage, where you can take a hydrofoil or a boat to Tremezzo.
